The family trees focus mainly on the generations of the Sim family from 1832 to 1932 and their families, as far as their grandchildren. More recent generations have been omitted to avoid living relatives as far as possible. Hopefully there is enough information to allow present day descendants to identify their forebears and place themselves in the family tree.
Two earlier generations take the family history back to 1760. These are named William (grandfather) and George (father) to avoid confusion with the later George and William; names were handed down from generation to generation in the Sim family as in other families.
There are eight names below and each leads to a section of the family tree. In each case, Generation 1 is the family of the named person and Generation 2 is the grandchildren of the named person.
